Seoul, South Korea – Singer Tae Jin-ah is set to release a new song, "Let's Have a Drink, Friend," overcoming the grief of losing his longtime friend and colleague, the late Song Dae-kwan. On the 17th, Tae Jin-ah's agency, Jina Entertainment, announced that Tae Jin-ah will release the new song on various music platforms at 12 PM on the 23rd.
The new song is characterized by a dynamic rhythm and an intense brass section, harmonized with Tae Jin-ah's unique husky shout vocals, leaving a strong impression on listeners. The lyrics express the excitement of meeting an old friend and the desire to forget the hardships of life and share a drink with a friend. In particular, this new song holds deeper meaning as Tae Jin-ah wrote the lyrics himself and his son, Eru, participated in the composition.
While Jina Entertainment did not directly reveal Tae Jin-ah's inner feelings, it is believed that this new song contains Tae Jin-ah's longing and affection for Song Dae-kwan, who passed away earlier this year. Tae Jin-ah and Song Dae-kwan shared a deep friendship as colleagues and friends in the music industry for a long time. Song Dae-kwan suddenly passed away from a heart attack on February 7th, leaving many people saddened.
"Let's Have a Drink, Friend" will be included in the album along with Tae Jin-ah's existing hit songs such as "Your Tears," "Lover," and "Love is Not for Anyone." Tae Jin-ah plans to start music broadcast activities from the first week of April and meet with fans.
