JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia - The second Islamic Arts Biennale is set to open on January 25, 2025, at the Western Hajj Terminal of King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah. Organized by the Diriyah Biennale Foundation, the event will blend historical Islamic treasures with contemporary artistic creations.

Curated by Saudi artist Muhannad Shono, the biennale will feature works from over 30 artists, exploring themes of space, time, and light. The exhibition will encompass both indoor and outdoor spaces, showcasing contemporary art alongside religious relics, maps, and jewelry.

The biennale's theme, "And All That Is In-Between," aims to foster collective understanding and imagination by transcending simplistic notions. The artworks, inspired by the concept of the garden in Islamic civilization, will address contemporary environmental and social issues.

The exhibition will be divided into seven sections, spanning 100,000 square meters, offering visitors a journey through the artistic heritage of Islam. The event will run until May 25, 2025.
