Hanyang University to Host Inclusive Tech & Startup Fair

Hanyang University’s Research Foundation, led by Director Byeon Jung-mu, will host the "2024 HY Inclusive Tech & Startup Fair" on November 12th at the Hanyang Integrated Technology Research Institute (HIT) on its Seoul campus.
This event aims to connect companies and institutions involved in various technological sectors, including batteries, energy and environment, semiconductors, bio/healthcare, ICT/mobility, AI/robotics, and defense. The fair will feature a diverse range of programs designed to foster collaboration and innovation.
The "HY Inclusive Tech & Startup Fair" is designed to showcase Hanyang University's outstanding patented technologies and startups, facilitating technology transfer and investment attraction. The event will serve as a bridge between companies seeking technology and university researchers, as well as a platform for startups to connect with investors. The event slogan, "Connecting Innovation: Opening the Future of the University Through Technology and Startups," emphasizes the inclusivity, openness, and social impact of the technology and startup ecosystem.
Hanyang University President Lee Ki-jeong expressed, "Through this event, we aim to contribute to the growth of companies by utilizing the university's core technologies and create opportunities for mutual growth through collaboration with companies."
The event will offer various programs, including one-on-one technology consultations between professors and participating companies, technology sharing and transfer consultations, and an IR demo day for promising startups to attract investors. Additionally, there will be interactive events such as robot demonstrations and a venture business competition for the general public and students.
