Seoul, South Korea – Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Jung Euisun has been re-elected for a sixth consecutive term as president of the Korean Archery Association, the company announced on Tuesday. His new term, beginning in January, will extend through 2028.

Jung’s re-election was unanimously approved by a seven-member election committee comprised of sports industry experts. His continued leadership is expected to solidify Korea's position as a global archery powerhouse, particularly in the lead-up to the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

Since assuming the role in 2005, Jung has been instrumental in establishing a fair, transparent, and merit-based national team selection system. Under his leadership, the Korean Archery Association has implemented a range of innovative training technologies, including shooting robots, multi-camera outdoor training systems, and personalized grips, all developed in collaboration with Hyundai Motor Group's R&D division. These technological advancements were instrumental in Korea's historic achievement of sweeping all five gold medals at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
