Hana Bank Signs MOU with the Vietnamese Association in Korea

Hana Bank announced on May 2nd that it had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Vietnamese Association in Korea on April 29th at the Vietnamese Embassy in Jongno-gu, Seoul. The MOU aims to provide financial education to Vietnamese residents in Korea and support the activities of the Vietnamese Association.
The Vietnamese Association in Korea is a community organization for Vietnamese immigrants residing in South Korea. It serves as a platform for members to share their joys and sorrows of life in Korea and promotes various activities to foster exchange between South Korea and Vietnam.
Through this MOU, Hana Bank and the Vietnamese Association in Korea will mutually cooperate in: ▲ Implementing economic and financial education for Vietnamese residents ▲ Providing a stable living environment through the expansion of cultural exchange ▲ Supporting Vietnamese multicultural families ▲ Preparing customized financial products and services, thereby enhancing financial inclusivity for foreign customers.
Seo Yu-seok, Senior Executive Vice President of Hana Bank, stated, "In line with the recent active economic and interpersonal exchange between Korea and Vietnam, we have signed this MOU with the Vietnamese Association in Korea. Hana Bank will spare no effort in supporting the creation of a stable living environment and the promotion of sound financial transactions for Vietnamese residents in Korea through this agreement."
Meanwhile, Hana Bank offers Sunday banking services at 16 branches located near areas with high concentrations of foreign workers nationwide, including Uijeongbu, Ansan, Gimhae, and Cheonan, to accommodate foreign customers who find it difficult to visit during weekdays. It also operates 'Hana EZ,' a specialized mobile application supporting 16 languages, to provide diverse financial services for foreign customers.
