Carolina Molina Brings a Ranchera Twist to Mariah Carey’s Christmas Classic

Santiago, Chile – Just a few days before Christmas, renowned Chilean singer Carolina Molina, affectionately known as “La Rancherita,” surprised her fans with a unique and festive gift. Molina has put her own distinctive spin on Mariah Carey’s timeless holiday hit, “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” infusing it with her signature ranchera style.
The new track, titled “Todo lo que quiero esta Navidad eres tú” (All I Want for Christmas Is You), is a standout single from her upcoming album, “Rancherizate.” Recently, she also released a catchy remix of Italian singer Raffaella Carrà’s popular song, further showcasing her versatility.
“This iconic song by one of my favorite artists, Mariah Carey, is a staple during the holiday season,” Molina shared. “I wanted to create a satellite single within my musical catalog, offering something special to my fans as a year-end gift. For 2025, I’m preparing a new album with fresh songs and an original repertoire.”
Molina’s rendition of “All I Want for Christmas Is You” is characterized by her signature rhythmic style and innovative arrangements, giving the classic tune a fresh and contemporary feel. It’s a perfect song to dance to at holiday parties.
“It’s the ideal way to end 2024, following my successful tour in Peru and the release of my new album,” Molina explained. “I hope this song brings joy to families and becomes a holiday tradition for years to come.”
Carolina Molina has already made headlines as the first confirmed judge for the 2025 Festival del Huaso de Olmué, a prestigious Chilean folk music festival scheduled for January 16-19.
