CBS Philadelphia Reports… Act Fast for Early Bird Discounts

With Memorial Day Weekend fast approaching, if you're planning a visit to the New Jersey beaches, now is the time to consider purchasing your beach tags. Many New Jersey beach towns mandate visitors to possess beach tags, and early bird discounts for the 2025 summer season are still available.

Beach tags are more than just a ticket for beach entry; they are a crucial means of generating revenue for the management and operation of the local beaches. This funding helps maintain beach cleanliness, ensure safety, and enhance amenities, providing visitors with a pleasant and secure environment.

Why Are Beach Tags Necessary?
A significant number of New Jersey beaches require beach tags for entry, or staff may verify tag possession while on the beach. In some towns, tags are required starting Memorial Day Weekend, so it's important to check the specific regulations of your chosen town before visiting.

However, not all beaches require tags. Wildwoods, Highlands, Corson's Inlet State Park, Strathmere, and Atlantic City all offer free beach access.

2025 New Jersey Beach Tag Purchase Information
Below is information on New Jersey beach towns selling 2025 summer season beach tags, along with their prices and purchase locations.

Online Purchase and Mobile App Use
Many New Jersey beach towns partner with Jersey Cape Tags to sell seasonal beach tags online. You can check your desired beach destination on JerseyCapeTags.com or their Shopify store, pay with a credit or debit card, and have the tags shipped to your home.

Additionally, the My Beach Mobile app allows you to purchase digital and physical beach tags for various towns. This app is available for download on the Apple App Store or Google Play. If you prefer to pay with cash or check, using this app can be convenient.
