FIAP Extends Early Bird Registration Period: Opening Doors for Latin American Creative Industry Festival

The Ibero-American Festival of Creativity (FIAP) has announced an extension of its Early Bird registration period for this year's event until June 2. This decision aims to provide advertising agencies, production companies, brands, and creative industry professionals across the Ibero-American region with more time to submit their outstanding ideas and to participate in one of the most important awards platforms in the region at a 10% discounted price.

FIAP's History and Status: The Heart of the Latin American Creative Industry

FIAP is a long-standing event that began in 1969 in Argentina under the name FICI (Festival Iberoamericano de Cine Publicitario). At that time, it primarily focused on advertising films but gradually expanded to encompass various media, including TV, radio, and print advertising, in line with changing times. In the 1990s, it changed its name to FIAP and evolved into today's comprehensive creativity festival, including digital and interactive advertising categories.

Every year, thousands of works are submitted to FIAP, and the best ideas are selected through a rigorous judging process. This goes beyond simply awarding prizes; it plays a crucial role in presenting trends in the Ibero-American creative industry, discovering new talent, and driving the overall development of the industry. Particularly through its collaboration with Produ, a leading media outlet and industry benchmark in the Spanish-speaking industry, FIAP has solidified its status by emphasizing the power of ideas to transform culture, business, and society.

56th Festival, Providing Experiences Connected to Market Dynamics

Celebrating its 56th edition this year, FIAP continues to focus on providing an accessible and collaborative experience connected to the actual dynamics of today's creative market. This means that beyond simply selecting award-winning works, the focus is on creating a platform where participants can interact, learn from each other, and jointly discuss the future of the industry.

The key dates for FIAP 2025 are as follows:

Early Bird Registration Deadline: June 2
Regular Registration Deadline: June 30
Awards Announcement and Online Gala: October 2 at 5:00 PM (EST)
In-person Gala: To be held on November 5 in conjunction with Advertising Week LatAm at the Museo Papalote del Niño in Mexico City.

Highlighting the Impact of Ideas Across Four Main Categories

FIAP 2025 will once again award the best ideas in the region across four main categories: Ads (Anuncios), Formats (Formatos), Innovation (Innovación), and Production (Producción). This not only recognizes creativity but also comprehensively evaluates the impact, relevance, and transformative power of these ideas on culture, business, and society when selecting the award winners.

Notably, the 100% online evaluation system and the Shortlist judging panel, composed of distinguished experts from each country, ensure a rigorous, transparent, and representative judging process that reflects the Ibero-American context. This provides participants with fair opportunities and enhances the prestige of the awarded works.

For more detailed information and to register works, please visit the official FIAP website at www.fiapawards.com. FIAP is expected to continue as an important platform for the development of the Ibero-American creative industry, unearthing and recognizing innovative ideas, and invigorating the industry.
