CHEONAN, SOUTH KOREA – The Cheonan City Welfare Foundation, under the leadership of Chairman Lee Woon-hyung, has solidified a significant partnership with the Cheonan Private Daycare Center Association, headed by President Shim Hyun-ok. The two organizations formalized their commitment on April 22nd through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aimed at fostering a pervasive "culture of sharing" throughout all stages of life within the Cheonan community.

This collaborative agreement outlines a comprehensive framework for joint initiatives spanning various crucial areas. Key among these is the "Happy Angel" program, designed to encourage regular donations from individuals and organizations to support the Foundation's ongoing welfare efforts. Furthermore, the partnership will actively engage in fundraising events specifically dedicated to providing essential resources and support to vulnerable children within Cheonan.

Recognizing the growing importance of corporate social responsibility, the MOU also emphasizes cooperation in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) management principles. Both the Welfare Foundation and the Daycare Center Association will explore avenues for integrating sustainable practices and ethical considerations into their respective operations. Social contribution activities, encompassing volunteer efforts and community engagement programs, will also be a central focus of their joint endeavors.

Beyond financial and programmatic collaborations, the agreement underscores a commitment to proactively identify vulnerable individuals and families within the Cheonan area who are in need of assistance. By leveraging the Daycare Center Association's extensive network within the community and the Welfare Foundation's expertise in social services, they aim to create a more robust safety net for those facing hardship.

In a tangible demonstration of their commitment, the executives of the Cheonan Private Daycare Center Association have pledged to personally participate in the Foundation's regular donation program. These contributions will be directly channeled towards supporting vulnerable populations, ensuring that the funds directly benefit those most in need within the local community.

President Shim Hyun-ok expressed her profound satisfaction with this partnership, stating, "Just as we dedicate ourselves to nurturing and caring for children, we feel a deep sense of responsibility to extend a helping hand to our less fortunate neighbors in Cheonan. This collaboration with the Welfare Foundation is incredibly meaningful, and the Association is committed to actively and consistently participating in initiatives that promote sharing and support within our community."

Chairman Lee Woon-hyung warmly acknowledged the Association's commitment, remarking, "We are deeply grateful to the dedicated professionals in the field of childcare who are extending their compassion and expertise to the broader welfare of our community. Their willingness to contribute to local welfare is truly commendable. We are optimistic that this agreement will serve as a shining example of effective public-private cooperation, demonstrating the powerful impact that can be achieved when community organizations unite for a common good."

The signing of this MOU marks a significant step forward in strengthening the social fabric of Cheonan. By combining the resources and expertise of the Cheonan City Welfare Foundation and the Cheonan Private Daycare Center Association, this partnership promises to create a more supportive and inclusive environment for all residents, particularly its most vulnerable members. The focus on cultivating a culture of sharing from an early age, coupled with concrete initiatives to support those in need, sets a positive precedent for community engagement and social responsibility in Cheonan.
