[GLOBAL ECONOMIC TIMES]  Singer and broadcaster Kim Jong-guk, famous for being a ‘salty guy,’ received a presidential commendation on Finance Day.

On the 29th, the 9th 'Finance Day' commemoration ceremony was held at FKI Tower in Yeouido, Seoul. At the ceremony on this day, Kim Jong-kook, 2PM's Lee Jun-ho, and actor Chae Soo-bin (real name Bae Soo-bin) attended to receive the award.

On this day, Kim Jong-guk received the honor of a presidential commendation in recognition of being economically independent through thorough savings practice and financial management, informing the public of the importance of savings, and disseminating financial knowledge through broadcasting.

Kim Jong-kook has established himself as the character of 'National Salty' and 'King Sogeum' by showing off his spirit of saving by washing wet tissues in entertainment shows such as SBS' 'My Little Old Boy' and 'Running Man'.

Based on this, he is currently becoming a hot topic as he is providing true education to the stars of 'Running Man' and 'Running Man' on MBC's 'Salty Man', and he has even received a presidential commendation, drawing attention to his future actions.

In addition, actor and singer Lee Jun-ho from 2PM was named as a Prime Minister's Award winner. By consistently volunteering with World Vision and participating in various donation activities, he was evaluated as contributing to spreading positive influence through savings as a public figure.

Actress Chae Soo-bin received a commendation from the Financial Services Commission. He received commendation for contributing to the spread of social sharing culture by practicing sharing activities in various fields such as being an ambassador for the Fruit of Love and donating activities to protect pets.

Meanwhile, Finance Day is a legal memorial day to raise public interest in finance and encourage workers in the financial sector. Awards for contributions to financial development are divided into the categories of ‘innovative finance’, ‘inclusive finance’, and ‘savings and investment’.
