Exciting and Unique Programs for All Ages from May 30th to June 1st

Seoul Metropolitan Government is set to host the grand "2nd Slow-Slow Hangang Triathlon Festival" at Ttukseom Hangang Park from Friday, May 30th to Sunday, June 1st, offering citizens a chance to enjoy leisure and fun in the heart of the city. In particular, the application process for the festival's exciting "FUN Experience Programs" began on Thursday, May 9th at 2 PM KST via Naver Reservation, sparking considerable anticipation among the public.

This year's "FUN Experience Programs" feature the "Hangang Plunge Zone," an exhilarating water sports experience zone where participants can fully embrace the refreshing charm of the Hangang River, and the "Slow-Slow Hangang Sports Day," combining various games and sports for an unforgettable experience.

Cool Off in the Thrilling Water Paradise: 'Hangang Plunge Zone'

The "Hangang Plunge Zone" offers a variety of activities to help you feel the Hangang River up close:

Giant Water Slide (Hangang 99 Pang Pang): Experience the thrill of sliding down a massive water slide and plunging into the cool Hangang River. Pre-registration is available via Naver Reservation, and some on-site participation will also be allowed. The fee is ₩3,000, and it operates 8 times a day for 45 minutes each session.
Slippery Pole Crossing: Feel the exhilarating tension as you cross a precarious cylindrical pole installed over the Hangang River, with the added fun of splashing into the cool water. On-site registration is available for everyone. The fee is ₩2,000, and it operates 8 times a day for 60 minutes each session.
Water Wrestling: Engage in a playful battle where two people push each other with their palms to make the other fall into the water, creating laughter-filled moments with friends, couples, and family. No pre-registration is required; simply participate on-site. The fee is ₩2,000, and it operates 8 times a day for 50 minutes each session.
Yacht, Kayak, and Water Bike Experience: Enjoy water leisure activities around the Ttukseom Hangang Park Windsurfing Area. Participation is free for up to 60 people per session, four times a day. Pre-registration is required through the Seoul Metropolitan Yacht Association website starting from 2 PM KST on May 9th on a first-come, first-served basis.
Water Playground: Located within the Ttukseom Hangang Park Outdoor Swimming Pool, this water play area is free for all participants of the 3-part race upon showing their entry wristband, without any additional registration.

Laugh and Enjoy Diverse Competitions: 'Slow-Slow Hangang Sports Day'

The "Slow-Slow Hangang Sports Day" offers special programs with famous athletes and opportunities to experience traditional Korean culture:

Star Athlete Championships: Create special memories by enjoying simple mini-games with national athletes representing South Korea, including Shim Suk-hee (short track), Lee Da-bin (taekwondo), and Cho Su-yeon (handball). On-site participation is open to everyone, and selected citizens who pass preliminary rounds for each event will compete directly with the athletes. Pre-registration is available via Naver Reservation, with a participation fee of ₩1,000. Preliminaries will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM, and the finals from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with participants allowed to join two events per day.
Slow-Slow Dano Festival: Commemorate Dano (the fifth day of the fifth lunar month) by experiencing various traditional customs such as Korean wrestling (ssireum), making Dano fans, and washing hair with sweet flag water. Ssireum experience will be held only on Dano, May 31st, in three sessions (50 people per session), while other programs can be enjoyed on-site throughout the festival period. Participation is free.
K-Culture Survival Game: Experience traditional Korean games inspired by popular K-drama content, including four-legged race, biseokchigi (knocking down stone targets), gongginori (Korean jacks), and jegichagi (shuttlecock kicking). Pre-registration is available via Naver Reservation, or you can participate on-site. The fee is ₩1,000, and it runs four times a day for 80 minutes each session.
Seoul Citizen Physical Fitness Test: Accurately measure your five basic fitness elements – muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, power, and agility – to check your fundamental physical fitness level. Anyone can participate for free by visiting the site without prior registration.
Hangang Treasure Hunt: Taking place at the Ttukseom Hangang Park Rose Garden, this event involves drones dropping treasure papers from the sky. Participants who find them first will receive various souvenirs, including 따릉이 (Ttareungi) bike rental vouchers.
Enhance the Fun with 'Stamp Rally' and Additional Registration Opportunity for the 3-Part Race

To encourage participants to actively experience and enjoy the various programs, a "Stamp Rally" will be held during the festival. Participants can receive generous souvenirs based on the number of stamps they collect, including 따릉이 (Ttareungi) bike rental vouchers, Franz EGF Sun Patch, Easyderm Active Care Band, O2 Booster Probiotics with Oxygen, and Pharmalive OptiMSM Vitamin C Plus.

Meanwhile, a second round of registration is currently open for cancellations of the "Slow-Slow Hangang Triathlon Race." Participants can cross the Hangang River using tubes or other flotation devices even if they are not strong swimmers, offering a great opportunity to create special memories with family, partners, and friends. Those interested can apply by selecting their preferred festival participation date and time via Naver Reservation.

The "Slow-Slow Hangang Triathlon Festival" is expected to provide citizens with a special weekend filled with diverse experiences and exciting attractions. As pre-registration for some programs is on a first-come, first-served basis, those wishing to participate are encouraged to sign up quickly. Don't miss the chance to create unforgettable memories at the lively festival in Ttukseom Hangang Park!
