(G)I-DLE's "Nxde" claimed the top spot on Genie Music's 2024 year-end chart, while NewJeans secured the most entries with a total of nine songs.

According to Genie Music's annual chart (January 1 - December 20), (G)I-DLE's "Nxde" topped the list, gaining popularity through a reverse chart run and ultimately becoming the year's biggest hit. Following a series of intense concept songs like "Tomboy" and "Queencard," (G)I-DLE presented a different side with the more casual and catchy "Nxde."

TWS's debut song "First" came in second, followed by DAY6's "You Were Beautiful" and "Even If I Become a Page" in third and fourth place, respectively. The latter two songs, released in 2017 and 2019, respectively, saw a resurgence in popularity, highlighting the enduring appeal of DAY6's music.

Other notable entries include aespa at fifth place with "Supernova," Im Jae-hyun's "Rainy Rhapsody" at sixth, and Lee Mu-jin's "Episode" at seventh. IU's "Love Wins All" ranked eighth, followed by QWER's "Addicted to Worry" and BIBI's "Bamyanggang."

NewJeans dominated the chart with nine songs, including "Hype Boy," "Ditto," and "ETA." IVE and (G)I-DLE followed with six songs each, aespa with five, and Le Sserafim and DAY6 with four.

Among international artists, Charlie Puth secured the most entries with three songs, solidifying his popularity in Korea following his sold-out concert.

Dance music dominated the chart with 36 entries, a 9% increase from the previous year. The resurgence of the band scene led to a 44% increase in rock songs, reaching 13 entries. Ballads also saw a 14% increase to 16 entries, while hip-hop and rap tracks declined by 40% to six entries.
