San Juan, Puerto Rico – Royal Gaming Logistics (RGL) and European Gaming Technologies (EGT) have unveiled their latest gaming innovation, the ‘Phoenix 27’, designed specifically for Puerto Rico’s route machine market. The new machine is the culmination of extensive market research and a deep understanding of local player preferences.

The launch event was marked by a celebration of technology and Puerto Rican culture. The introduction of the ‘Phoenix 27’ coincided with the opening of the first and only showroom dedicated to the gaming industry on the island. Attendees were treated to live plena music and demonstrations of the machine's advanced features.

The ‘Phoenix 27’ boasts cutting-edge technology, including high-definition sound, touchscreens, and state-of-the-art components. Its ‘Flaming Bonus Selection Exciter VI’ software introduces 10 brand-new games featuring bonus rounds, alternative gameplay, multi-level progressives, and the popular ‘trigger games.’ Importantly, the machine has been certified by Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) and meets all technical standards set by the Puerto Rico Gaming Commission.

“The ‘Phoenix 27’ is a cabinet that brings together all the elements for a truly high-definition gaming experience,” said Jorge Torres Martínez, CEO of RGL. “With its innovative features and engaging gameplay, we believe it will be a huge hit with players.”

Silviya Maranova, EGT’s Project Manager for Puerto Rico, added, “EGT has invested heavily in this project from concept to completion. Our goal was to create the best gaming experience possible, and we believe we have achieved that with the ‘Phoenix 27’.”

Jaime Alex Irizarry, RGL’s Chief Operating Officer and former director of Puerto Rico’s Gaming Division, emphasized the company’s commitment to changing the perception of the gaming industry. “We are focused on providing high-quality, certified gaming equipment that complies with all applicable laws,” he said. “We also want to be recognized as Puerto Rican businesses that contribute to the well-being of the island and support our police pension system.”

The launch event was attended by over 50 gaming operators and business owners, as well as Juan Carlos Santaella, Director of the Puerto Rico Gaming Commission, and José Luis Dalmau, President of the Senate.
