Renault Korea Celebrates 2023 Sales Success and Outlines Future Plans at 2024 Awards

YONGIN, South Korea – Renault Korea Motors held its "Renault Korea 2024 Awards" on March 13th at Renault Technology Korea in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, celebrating its 2023 sales achievements and sharing its future plans. The event was attended by over 200 people, including CEO Stephane Deblaise, Renault Korea sales executives and employees, and partner representatives.

The awards ceremony highlighted the company's successful sales strategies, particularly following the domestic market success of the Grand Koleos. It also recognized top performers in sales and service, including outstanding branches and individuals.

Key Highlights:

Top Sales Performers Honored:The "Overall Sales King" award went to Jung Eui-young, a master at the Pyeongtaek Dealership, who sold a total of 238 vehicles, including 115 Grand Koleos units.
The "Overall Top 10 Sales" list included top-performing sales advisors from various dealerships across South Korea.
"2024 Rookie" Awards:This year, Renault Korea introduced the "2024 Rookie" awards, recognizing eight outstanding new sales advisors.
Kim Tae-hoon from the Byeongjeom Dealership was named the top "2024 Rookie," having sold 60 vehicles.
Sales Strategy and Professional Development:Renault Korea emphasized its commitment to enhancing customer service by rebranding its sales representatives as "Sales Advisors" and updating their professional attire.
The company also focused on recruiting and training new Sales Advisors to ensure they possess the necessary expertise and skills.
2023 Sales Performance:Renault Korea achieved significant growth in 2023, selling 39,816 units in the domestic market, an 80.6% increase compared to 2022.
The Grand Koleos, launched in September 2023, played a crucial role in this success, with 22,034 units sold within 75 business days.
The grand koleos sales continue into 2024 with a current total of 28,180 units sold, despite production reductions due to factory improvements.
Renault Korea's successful 2023 and its plans for continued growth and customer satisfaction were the central themes of the 2024 awards.
