CHEONAN, SOUTH KOREA – The Chungcheongnam-do Safety Experience Center is gearing up to celebrate South Korea's "Family Month" in May with a series of engaging events designed to blend safety education with family fun. The center, located in Dongnam-gu, Cheonan-si, has announced a special two-day event on May 3rd and 4th, offering delightful character cotton candy to visitors who actively participate in their safety awareness programs. Furthermore, an ongoing "Life! Three Cuts" photo event will run until May 20th, providing families with memorable instant photo souvenirs.

The highlight of the early May festivities is the unique incentive tied to the center's core mission: promoting safety consciousness. Visitors who complete any of the Safety Experience Center's educational programs will be rewarded with a whimsical character cotton candy. To claim this sweet treat, participants can either authenticate their experience by scanning a designated Quick Response (QR) code after finishing their chosen program or by engaging in promotional activities on various social media platforms. This initiative cleverly combines learning with a touch of playful enjoyment, making safety education more appealing and memorable for visitors of all ages, particularly families with young children who are the focus of the upcoming Children's Day celebrations on May 5th.

In addition to the cotton candy giveaway, the Chungcheongnam-do Safety Experience Center is also hosting a "Life! Three Cuts" event on the first floor of its facility. This interactive photo opportunity allows visitors to capture fun and memorable moments during their visit. Participants can take a series of three consecutive photos, reminiscent of popular photo booth experiences, and receive instant prints as a keepsake. This event, running until May 20th, adds an element of entertainment and provides families with a tangible memento of their time spent at the center.

Park Chang-woo, the head of the Chungcheongnam-do Safety Experience Center, emphasized the significance of these events in the context of Family Month. "We have thoughtfully planned these special Children's Day activities with the intention of making May, a month dedicated to families, truly meaningful," stated Park. "Our aim is to provide an environment where families can not only learn crucial safety practices but also create joyful memories together. We sincerely hope that everyone who visits the Chungcheongnam-do Safety Experience Center will have a warm, safe, and enriching Family Month."

The Chungcheongnam-do Safety Experience Center plays a vital role in the region by offering hands-on educational programs that cover a wide range of safety scenarios, including fire safety, earthquake preparedness, traffic safety, and first aid. These interactive experiences are designed to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to respond effectively in emergency situations. 1  The center's commitment to making safety education accessible and engaging is evident in its innovative events that cater to families.

Family Month in South Korea is a time dedicated to celebrating the importance of family bonds and showing appreciation for loved ones. Various holidays and observances fall within this month, including Children's Day (May 5th) and Parents' Day (May 8th), making it a period filled with family outings and special activities. The Chungcheongnam-do Safety Experience Center's initiatives align perfectly with the spirit of Family Month by offering opportunities for families to spend quality time together while learning valuable life skills.

For those interested in visiting the Chungcheongnam-do Safety Experience Center and participating in these family-friendly events, detailed information regarding visit reservations and the various experience programs available can be found on the center's official website at https://safe.cn119.go.kr. Inquiries can also be made by contacting the main telephone line at ☎ 041-590-6240. The center encourages families from Cheonan and the wider Chungcheongnam-do province to take advantage of these unique opportunities to combine learning, fun, and the creation of lasting family memories during this special month. The events underscore the center's dedication to fostering a culture of safety within the community while providing engaging and enjoyable experiences for families.
