The AJF grants, designed to advance Australia's foreign and trade policy interests with Japan, will support a diverse range of projects spanning scientific collaboration, strategic policy discussions, sustainable development, and environmental initiatives.

Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI): ASPI will host a workshop bringing together leading Pacific experts from Australia, Japan, and the Pacific region to address and enhance Pacific resilience against emerging security challenges.

University of Queensland: The university will advance higher education in sustainable construction through workshops, public lectures, and a presentation at Expo 2025 in Osaka, Kansai.

Drift Consulting: This project will foster collaboration between Australian and Japanese experts to explore the use of Australian seaweed in livestock feed, aiming to reduce emissions.
