CHEONAN-SI, SOUTH KOREA – April 3, 2025 – Woori Financial Group today marked its 24th anniversary with a meaningful ceremony centered around the theme of "We Are All Woori," emphasizing its commitment to sharing and mutual growth. In a departure from extravagant celebrations, the group opted to invite beneficiaries of its various social contribution initiatives, highlighting its dedication to the community.

The anniversary event saw the attendance of representatives from 'Miralkkumssi,' Woori Financial's pioneering venture in employing individuals with disabilities. Miralkkumssi, a key supplier of customer gift sets for Woori Bank, has provided permanent employment to 12 individuals with disabilities.

A significant part of the ceremony involved the unveiling of the 'Commemorative Month for Employment of People with Disabilities' wall. This initiative will serve as a public record of Woori Financial Group's partnerships with companies employing people with disabilities, the value of related contracts, and the cumulative number of individuals hired. The commemorative wall aims to raise awareness and foster a greater understanding of inclusive employment practices among employees and the wider community.

Adding a heartwarming touch to the celebration, children who have benefited from Woori Financial's 'Woori Baby's First Birthday Celebration' also participated in the event. By streamlining the traditional anniversary proceedings, Woori Financial redirected resources to host special first birthday parties for children in orphanages, gifting each child a housing subscription savings account with 1 million won. Furthermore, students supported by the 'Woori Rookie Project,' which provides crucial funding for surgeries for children with visual and hearing impairments, delivered congratulatory performances, showcasing the tangible impact of the group's philanthropic efforts.

A spokesperson for Woori Financial emphasized the significance of the event's focus, stating, "By minimizing the scale of our anniversary celebration, we were able to create a more impactful occasion where we could share our warmth and support with those in need within our community. Woori Financial Group remains steadfast in its commitment to extending care and affection to our less fortunate neighbors."

This year's anniversary celebration underscores Woori Financial Group's evolving approach to corporate milestones, prioritizing social responsibility and demonstrating a genuine commitment to creating a more inclusive and supportive society.
