Daejeon, South Korea – PhilSang, a leading startup specializing in AI-powered cybersecurity solutions, has secured significant funding to accelerate its growth and expand its global footprint. The company, known for its innovative phishing prevention app "Ssakdagaba," has been selected for the Deep Tech TIPS program, a government-backed initiative designed to support high-potential startups.

PhilSang has been at the forefront of developing advanced mobile security solutions, combining AI, cybersecurity, and fintech technologies. Its flagship product, "Ssakdagaba," has gained significant traction, with over 300,000 downloads and the ability to detect hundreds of thousands of malicious URLs daily. The app has been instrumental in creating a safer online environment for users worldwide.

The recent investment from the Daejeon Innovation Center and the selection for the Deep Tech TIPS program will provide PhilSang with the resources needed to further enhance its technology and expand into new markets. The company plans to leverage these funds to attract top talent, accelerate research and development, and strengthen its international presence.

"We are thrilled to have been selected for the Deep Tech TIPS program," said PhilSang CEO, Kang Phil-sang. "This funding will enable us to continue developing cutting-edge security solutions and expand our reach beyond the domestic market."

To further enhance user protection, PhilSang has partnered with Woori Bank to offer "Ssakdagaba" users a complimentary voice phishing insurance policy with a coverage of up to 10 million won. This strategic partnership underscores the company's commitment to providing comprehensive security solutions.

Park Dae-hee, the center director of Daejeon Innovation Center, expressed his confidence in PhilSang's future growth. "PhilSang is a prime example of the innovative startups we aim to support," he said. "We are committed to providing the necessary resources and guidance to help them achieve their full potential."

With its strong technology foundation, growing user base, and strategic partnerships, PhilSang is well-positioned to become a global leader in cybersecurity. As cyber threats continue to evolve, the company's AI-powered solutions offer a much-needed layer of protection for individuals and businesses alike.
