SEOUL, South Korea – J-Hope, a member of the global phenomenon BTS, has once again demonstrated his significant impact on the international music scene. His latest single, "Mona Lisa," debuted at No. 65 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, as revealed by Billboard on April 1st (local time). This achievement marks J-Hope's seventh solo entry on the prestigious chart, a milestone that ties him with fellow BTS member Jungkook for the most Hot 100 entries among K-pop solo artists.

This latest success adds to J-Hope's impressive solo discography on the Hot 100, which includes previous hits such as "Chicken Noodle Soup" featuring Becky G (2019) and "on the street" with J. Cole (2023). Notably, J-Hope has experienced a remarkable surge in chart activity since his return from mandatory military service. "Mona Lisa" is his third song to enter the Hot 100 this year alone, following the entries of "LV Bag" and "Sweet Dreams," showcasing his consistent musical output and enduring popularity.

The Billboard Hot 100 ranks the most popular songs in the United States across all genres, based on a combination of streaming activity, radio airplay, and sales data. J-Hope's repeated presence on this chart underscores his ability to connect with a broad audience and his continued relevance in the competitive American music market.

Beyond the Hot 100, "Mona Lisa" has also achieved significant success on other Billboard charts, marking personal bests for the artist. The track soared to No. 14 on the Global 200 chart, which ranks songs based on streaming and sales activity culled from more than 200 territories around the world. Additionally, "Mona Lisa" climbed to No. 9 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, which follows the same metrics but excludes data from the United States. These impressive rankings highlight the global appeal of J-Hope's music and its resonance with listeners worldwide.

J-Hope's recent achievements further solidify his position as a prominent solo artist within the K-pop industry and on the global stage. His ability to consistently chart on the Billboard Hot 100, alongside Jungkook, is a testament to his artistry, his dedicated fanbase (known as ARMY), and the increasing global influence of Korean music. Fans and industry observers alike eagerly anticipate J-Hope's future musical endeavors and his continued impact on the international music landscape.
