Community Chest and DDB Group Singapore have launched the 'A Million Dreams' campaign, aiming to redefine the meaning of 'giving' and build a society united through dreams.

Launched as part of SGSHARE, a national giving program commemorating Singapore's 60th year of independence (SG60), this campaign is a powerful call to action to build a more inclusive and caring Singapore through sustained support. It is an advancement of the SHARE program, focusing on supporting children with special needs, people with disabilities, at-risk youth, people with mental health conditions, and families and seniors in need.

Key Highlights of the Campaign:

Emotional Video and Music: The campaign features a moving rendition of 'A Million Dreams' from 'The Greatest Showman,' celebrating everyday resilience and hope. It features real service users and community change-makers, with the Voices of Singapore Children’s Choir and Starlight Voices.
Encouraging Sustained Giving: DDB Group Singapore is leading a nationwide campaign to encourage regular giving through convenient subscription models, supporting social service agencies to meet evolving social needs.
Call for Nationwide Participation: The campaign, launched on March 20th, is being promoted across various platforms, encouraging individuals and corporate partners to pledge ongoing support.

Quotes:

Jeff Cheong, CEO of DDB Group Singapore: "Singapore's history teaches us that dreams can come true when we work together. We hope Singapore becomes a caring and inclusive society where everyone moves forward."
Pearlene Chan, Director of Communications at NCSS: "We are pleased to collaborate with DDB and our social service partners on this meaningful campaign. We hope this video inspires everyone to support those in need in this special SG60 year. Together, we can build an inclusive Singapore where everyone has the opportunity to realize their dreams."

Campaign Goals:

To encourage the Singaporean public to reconsider the value of sharing.
To build a more inclusive and caring society.
To support social service agencies through sustained giving.
