BTOB Ignites Kuala Lumpur with Energetic Fan-Concert

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – South Korean boy group BTOB (비투비), consisting of members Seo Eun-kwang, Lee Min-hyuk (Huta), Lee Chang-sub, Im Hyun-sik, Peniel Shin, and Yook Sung-jae, recently electrified their Malaysian fanbase during their fan-concert, '2025 BTOB FAN-CON ‘3,2,1 GO! MELympic’', held at Zepp Kuala Lumpur on April 19th. This marked a long-awaited return to the Southeast Asian nation, and the group delivered a memorable experience filled with powerful performances and engaging fan service, reaffirming their status as K-pop stalwarts.

The Kuala Lumpur show was the third stop on BTOB's global tour, which commenced in Seoul at the Olympic Hall and continued in Taipei. The enthusiastic Malaysian "Melody," the official BTOB fan club, warmly welcomed the group.

BTOB showcased a variety of tracks, including the title song 'LOVE TODAY' from their latest EP album 'BTODAY,' along with other new songs such as 'Say Yes,' 'Starry Night,' and 'Could This Be Better.' The members' stable live vocals and polished choreography captivated the audience, instantly transforming the venue into a hub of fervent energy.

The setlist also featured a string of their most beloved hits over the years, including 'I Can't Live Without You (너 없인 안 된다),' 'Missing You (그리워하다),' 'Heaven,' 'I Miss You (보고파),' 'Beep Beep (뛰뛰빵빵),' and 'Her Over Flowers (꽃보다 그녀).' These iconic tracks highlighted BTOB's broad musical spectrum and their enduring synergy as a group, deeply resonating with the captivated audience.

Beyond the musical performances, the concert adopted an interactive concept fitting the 'MELympic' theme. The show commenced with a playful parade reminiscent of an Olympic opening ceremony, complete with member entrances and a torch relay performance. This was followed by mini-games such as table tennis, shooting, and shot put, where the BTOB members playfully competed with fans, showcasing their renowned variety show personalities and filling the venue with laughter.

A highlight of the evening was a large-scale group game involving an oversized ball, uniting the entire audience. Fans were divided into teams by section, actively engaging with the members in the spirited competition. BTOB reciprocated the enthusiasm by selecting fans as the 'MVPs' of the day, demonstrating their unwavering affection for their supporters.

Following the concert, BTOB conveyed their sentiments through their agency, BTOB Company, stating, "It was wonderful to meet the Malaysian Melody after a long time, and the time was filled with love and passion that made the long wait fade away. 1  We actually received even more energy. We sincerely thank you and sincerely love you."   

Looking ahead, BTOB is scheduled to perform in Hong Kong on April 25th and 26th, followed by concerts in Tokyo on May 14th and Osaka on May 16th. The 'MELympic' fan-con tour, which began in Seoul and has now touched Taipei and Kuala Lumpur, is setting a new benchmark for K-pop fan culture, emphasizing the dynamic interaction between artists and their fans, with BTOB at the heart of this evolving landscape.
