From hands-on career and major explorations to personalized career and academic counseling... Exploring the humanities, natural sciences, and arts & physical education fields

Bucheon City, in collaboration with the Bucheon Future Education Center, will hold the '2026 Dada (Meaning "Everything is there - Connecting everything") Career Fair' at Bucheon Central Park from October 1 to October 2, targeting approximately 4,500 youths and local residents within the city.

Moving away from traditional, passive experiences, this year's fair is designed to help students naturally experience the "High School Credit System" while exploring diverse career paths. In particular, a "mission-based" approach has been adopted so that students who have not yet determined their interests, aptitudes, or career directions can directly experience various fields and discover their areas of interest.

Participating students will start with core competency booths they registered for in advance, and then visit booths categorized by academic tracks—such as humanities, natural sciences, and arts & physical education—to experience activities and complete missions. The venue will feature track-specific job experiences, university and high school major explorations, and customized career and college entrance counseling, enabling students to gather detailed information on various paths and majors and closely examine their own interests and aptitudes.

The event will be operated in three distinct sessions based on participants: Sessions 1 and 2, held from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM, will involve middle school students from the city participating on a school basis through advance registration. Session 3, running from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM, will be open for youths, parents, and local residents to participate freely on-site without prior registration.

Kim Young-ae, Director of the Lifelong Education Bureau of Bucheon City, stated, "We hope this will be an opportunity for youths who still find their career paths vague to discover what interests them without pressure. We will continue to provide diverse career experience opportunities so they can naturally experience the high school credit system and uncover their aptitudes and potential."
