Cheonan City announced on the 2nd that it will hold the "27th Ipjang Geobong Grape Festival Promotion and Sales Event" from the 4th to the 13th at the Ipjang Geobong Grape Rest Area (bound for Seoul).

The Ipjang Geobong Grape Festival Promotion Committee hosts this annual event to widely promote the excellence of Ipjang grapes and expand sales channels for local grape farmers. In particular, this year's event operates with a "drive-thru" system allowing visitors to purchase grapes directly from their vehicles, thereby enhancing convenience, along with a tasting corner prepared for visitors to enjoy the sweet grapes. Those who purchase grapes at the event venue will also receive grape keyrings and keycaps.

Along with these sales activities, the opening ceremony and celebration concert held at 5 PM on the 4th at the Hi-Pass Park within the Ipjang Geobong Grape Rest Area featured renowned singers such as Cherry Girls, Ryeohwa, and Myungji, successfully elevating the festive atmosphere.

Han Han-soo, Chairman of the Ipjang Geobong Grape Festival Promotion Committee, expressed his hope that many people would enjoy the exceptional taste and aroma of Ipjang grapes, adding that this event would also contribute to expanding sales channels for local farms.

Meanwhile, Ipjang Geobong grapes boast outstanding quality backed by high sugar content and rich juice, while also containing abundant vitamins, minerals, and dietary fiber.

This festival serves as a prime opportunity to highlight the agricultural value of the region and connect consumers directly with high-quality local produce. By utilizing the drive-thru method, the organizers effectively minimized visitor inconvenience while maximizing purchasing efficiency, setting a practical benchmark for regional agricultural marketing. The inclusion of interactive elements like tasting booths and souvenir giveaways further encouraged active public participation, reinforcing the brand identity of Ipjang Geobong grapes in a competitive market. Furthermore, cultural programs such as the opening concert successfully attracted diverse demographics, transforming a standard agricultural sales event into a vibrant community festival that celebrates local heritage and agricultural excellence.
