Hoengseong, South Korea – The Hoengseong Culture & Tourism Foundation has launched a "Romantic Taxi" service to provide convenient and personalized transportation for tourists visiting the Hoengseong region. This service offers a 50% discount on taxi fares, making it an affordable option for travelers exploring the area.

The Romantic Taxi service allows tourists to choose from recommended itineraries or create their own custom routes. The service is available for a minimum of three hours, with flexible pricing options to suit various travel needs. The fare structure is as follows:

3 hours: 45,000 KRW
4 hours: 60,000 KRW
5 hours: 75,000 KRW
7 hours: 90,000 KRW

In celebration of the "Visit Gangwon Year," the foundation is offering an additional 20% discount during the peak tourist seasons of April-May and September-October. This special promotion further enhances the affordability and appeal of the Romantic Taxi service.

Tourists can enjoy various themed tours, including visits to the "Top 10 Recommended Tourist Attractions," "Pet-Friendly Destinations," and "Foreigner-Recommended Spots." Additionally, Romantic Taxi users can benefit from discounts at local tourist attractions.

"We introduced the Romantic Taxi to provide maximum convenience for independent travelers using public transportation," said Huh Tae-gu, head of the foundation's secretariat. "We plan to continue developing and implementing various services to enhance the tourist experience."

The Romantic Taxi drivers are experienced professionals who have completed over 20 hours of training, including customer service and on-site education about Hoengseong's tourist attractions.

The Hoengseong Culture & Tourism Foundation aims to provide the best service to independent travelers by introducing and operating the Romantic Taxi, and plans to promote various services in the future.
