ATLANTA, GA – Ten years ago, the Porsche Experience Center (PEC) Atlanta opened its doors, igniting a decade of immersive automotive experiences for enthusiasts and the local community. Since its inauguration, the state-of-the-art facility has welcomed hundreds of thousands of visitors, hosted exhilarating on-track driving programs, and even served as a backdrop for major motion picture productions, solidifying its status as a premier destination for Porsche aficionados.

To commemorate this significant milestone, PEC Atlanta will host a special anniversary celebration on Saturday, June 7th, inviting the public to join in the festivities. The ticketed event, running from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., promises a day filled with adrenaline-pumping demonstrations, engaging simulator experiences, delectable food, and exciting giveaways.

Michelle Rainey, Director of Porsche Experience Centers, fondly recalls the center's early days. "I was there when the very first guests were welcomed – and it’s been truly a privilege to be part of such a fantastic team that has seen our site grow and thrive since those early days," she stated. "For the last decade, we have inspired a community of dreamers who value the heritage, innovation, and style that our vehicles represent. This anniversary is a great chance to celebrate Porsche’s presence in the surrounding Hapeville and Atlanta communities."

The 27.5-acre complex, strategically located adjacent to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, has become an integral part of the local landscape. More than just a driving track, PEC Atlanta offers a unique opportunity for individuals to connect with the Porsche brand on multiple levels. Its facilities include a driver development track featuring six distinct modules designed to replicate various real-world driving scenarios, a human performance center, a classic car gallery, a Porsche retail store, and fine dining options at Restaurant 356.

The anniversary event will offer attendees a taste of the center's core offerings. Guests can witness professional drivers pushing Porsche vehicles to their limits during thrilling demonstration laps on the facility's renowned circuits. For those eager to get behind the wheel virtually, the immersive simulator lab will provide a realistic experience of piloting high-performance sports cars on iconic racetracks.

General admission tickets for the anniversary celebration are priced at $50 and can be purchased through the event website. Each general admission ticket includes entry to the event and two food tickets, allowing guests to savor the culinary delights available on-site.

For an even more hands-on experience, attendees can purchase individual sessions for the Simulator Lab and exhilarating Demonstration Laps. Those opting for Demonstration Laps will have the opportunity to ride alongside a professional driver in iconic Porsche models. Choices include the exhilarating 911 Carrera S or GTS, which will tackle the challenging South Track, or high-performance GT model variants for an unforgettable experience on the West Track. These add-on experiences offer a rare chance to feel the power and precision of Porsche engineering firsthand.

Beyond the on-track excitement, the anniversary event promises a vibrant atmosphere with various activities and giveaways, ensuring a memorable day for all attendees. It’s an opportunity for the Porsche community, local residents, and automotive enthusiasts to come together and celebrate a decade of passion, performance, and innovation.

The Porsche Experience Center Atlanta has not only served as a hub for driving experiences but has also contributed significantly to the local economy and community engagement. Its presence has attracted visitors from across the globe, boosting tourism and creating job opportunities. Furthermore, the center has actively engaged with local schools and organizations, fostering an appreciation for engineering, design, and automotive excellence.

The center's impact extends beyond the automotive realm. Notably, PEC Atlanta served as a key filming location for the movie "Baby Driver," further cementing its place in popular culture and showcasing its striking architecture and dynamic environment to a wider audience.

As PEC Atlanta embarks on its next decade, it remains committed to providing unparalleled experiences that embody the spirit of the Porsche brand. The 10th-anniversary celebration is not just a look back at past achievements but also a glimpse into the exciting future that lies ahead for this iconic automotive destination. Don't miss the chance to be part of this special milestone and experience the thrill of Porsche firsthand. Tickets and additional information are available on the event website.
