Bong Joon-ho's highly anticipated sci-fi film, "Mickey 17," is set to hit theaters earlier than initially planned. Warner Bros. Korea announced on [date] that the North American release will be on March 7th, 2024, a full month ahead of its previously scheduled April 18th release.

The decision to expedite the release comes after positive early screenings with general audiences. The studio aims to capitalize on the North American spring break, which begins in March.

"Mickey 17," which tells the story of a cloned human sent on dangerous missions to a distant planet, is expected to make its world premiere in South Korea before its North American release. Given the earlier U.S. release date, South Korean audiences can anticipate seeing the film in early March as well.

The star-studded cast includes Robert Pattinson, Steven Yeun, Naomi Aki, Toni Collette, and Mark Ruffalo.
