The hub of Southeast Asia's textile industry, Singapore, is set to host a grand showcase of cutting-edge textile technology!

SINGAPORE – ITMA ASIA + CITME Singapore 2025, an integration of the world-renowned textile machinery exhibition ITMA ASIA and the China International Textile Machinery Exhibition CITME, will grandly open at the Singapore Expo from October 28 to 31, 2025.

This exhibition serves as a pivotal platform for fostering innovation and growth in the textile and garment industries of the Asian region, garnering significant attention from textile industry stakeholders worldwide.

Notably, the organizers have commenced online pre-registration for visitors wishing to attend the exhibition and are offering an exceptional 50% discount on on-site registration fees for early registrants.

Visitors who register by September 28 through the official website (www.itmaasiasingapore.com) can purchase a 4-day badge for S$50 and a 1-day badge for S$25. This represents a substantial discount compared to the on-site registration fees (4-day badge S$100, 1-day badge S$50).

ITMA ASIA + CITME Singapore 2025 is expected to become a must-attend exhibition for industry players active in major textile and garment manufacturing hubs such as South Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.

Alex Zucchi, President of the European Committee of Textile Machinery Manufacturers (CEMATEX), emphasized, "Textile manufacturers in this region will actively seek the most advanced machinery solutions at this exhibition to maximize production efficiency, increase output, and produce high-quality products that meet market demands."

Gu Ping, President of the China Textile Machinery Association (CTMA), also added, "ITMA ASIA + CITME Singapore 2025 is the premier trade exhibition showcasing cutting-edge textile production technologies. It will play a crucial role in strengthening regional cooperation and driving innovation in the textile industry through close business networking between textile machinery manufacturers and industry experts."

Jemmy Kartiwa Sastraatmadja, Chairman of the Indonesian Textile Association (API) and the ASEAN Federation of Textile Industries (AFTEX), highlighted the importance of this exhibition for the development of the ASEAN textile industry, stating, "This joint exhibition held in Singapore will be an invaluable opportunity for the ASEAN textile industry. The latest technologies showcased are expected to significantly enhance the competitiveness of the regional textile and garment sectors."

Furthermore, he added, "For the future of a sustainable textile and garment industry, it is essential to update technology and understand global trends. Discussions on environmentally friendly production methods, as well as addressing production and garment waste issues, are also important tasks."

According to the exhibition organizers, over 770 leading companies from 33 countries and regions have already secured exhibition space within the Singapore Expo, and the list of participating companies will be released in June through the official website and mobile app.

ITMA ASIA + CITME has been held biennially in Shanghai since 2008, but this Singapore exhibition is expected to further strengthen its connection with the Southeast Asian textile industry.

The next joint exhibition will be held in 2026 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. Meanwhile, ITMA ASIA was first held in Singapore in 2001 by CEMATEX and was held once more in Singapore in 2005 before being integrated with CITME in 2008. CITME, the China International Textile Machinery Exhibition, was first held in 1988 and was held 10 times in Beijing until 2006.

ITMA ASIA + CITME Singapore 2025 will be an excellent opportunity to grasp the latest technological trends in the textile industry, create new business opportunities, and expand global networks. Take advantage of early bird registration to experience this world-class textile technology exhibition at an even more reasonable price.
