Santiago, Chile – The Chilean Pension Insurance Agency (IPS) has issued a reminder for all beneficiaries to update their family information by the end of 2024 to ensure eligibility for the 2025 Family Subsidy (Bono Marzo).

To receive the subsidy, which is typically paid out in early March, beneficiaries must be receiving the subsidy as of December 31st of the preceding year.

Who is eligible?

Employed individuals (both salaried employees and self-employed workers)
Dependents such as children under 18, full-time students aged 18-24, spouses, parents, and grandchildren (subject to income limits)

Income Requirements

The average monthly income for the first half of 2024 must be below 1,335,450 Chilean pesos.

How to Update Information

Required Documents: Valid identification, employment contract, AFP certificate, etc.
Where to Apply: Contact the payroll department of your company or the IPS.

Why Update?

Changes in family composition or income may affect eligibility for the subsidy.
Ensuring accurate family information before the end of the year is crucial for receiving the 2025 subsidy.

Don't Miss Out

The IPS strongly encourages all beneficiaries to update their family information promptly. By taking proactive steps to verify and update personal information, beneficiaries can ensure they are eligible to receive the 2025 Family Subsidy.
