Mercedes-Benz Unveils Next-Generation CLA: A Leap in AI and Electric Mobility

Mercedes-Benz has set a new benchmark in the compact sedan segment with the world premiere of the all-new CLA on September 13, 2025, in Munich, Germany. This latest model is the first to feature Mercedes-Benz's proprietary operating system (MB.OS) and the AI-driven fourth-generation MBUX infotainment system. It also boasts a modular architecture that supports both pure electric and 48V hybrid powertrains, delivering exceptional efficiency and performance.

Key Features
1. Fourth-Generation MBUX and Artificial Intelligence
First vehicle to utilize Mercedes-Benz's proprietary MB.OS.
Integration of Microsoft and Google AI: Leveraging ChatGPT 4.0, Microsoft Bing, and Google Gemini and Google Maps data.
MBUX Virtual Assistant: Natural language processing and driver emotion recognition capabilities.
MBUX Superscreen: Smartphone-like user interface.
2. Electrification Technology
Initial launch of pure electric models: 85kWh NCM battery model followed by a 58kWh LFP battery model.
Planned release of 48V hybrid models.
800V electric architecture: Supports up to 320kW DC fast charging.
CLA 250+ with EQ Technology: Achieves a WLTP range of up to 792km and energy consumption of 12.5kWh/100km.
Two-speed transmission: Optimized for acceleration and efficiency.
3. Design and Aerodynamics
Emotionally appealing interior and exterior design.
Achieves a drag coefficient of 0.21Cd.

Additional Information

The new CLA is built on Mercedes-Benz's next-generation modular architecture, the MMA (Mercedes-Benz Modular Architecture) platform.
Mercedes-Benz aims to attract a younger demographic and solidify its leadership in the compact sedan market with the new CLA.
This new CLA is evaluated that it has presented the new future of automobile industry by the fusion of AI technology and electrification technology.
