Los Angeles, CA – Former Major League Baseball pitcher Chan Ho Park has become the latest victim of the devastating wildfires ravaging Southern California. The fire, which began on August 8th, has forced thousands from their homes and destroyed numerous properties, including Park’s residence in Beverly Hills.

Park, who played for the Los Angeles Dodgers during his MLB career, purchased the two-story mansion in Beverly Hills back in 1999. The property, which he showcased on television a few years ago, has been completely destroyed by the blaze. Park and his family had to evacuate to a nearby hotel when the fire broke out.

The wildfires, which have burned over 108 square kilometers, continue to spread rapidly, forcing the evacuation of over 130,000 residents and cutting power to 1.5 million homes. Other celebrities, including Anthony Hopkins, John Goodman, and Miles Teller, have also lost their homes in the fire. Additionally, the Malibu home of Hunter Biden, son of U.S. President Joe Biden, and the residence of hotel heiress Paris Hilton have been damaged.

As firefighters work tirelessly to contain the blazes, the extent of the damage is still being assessed. The wildfires have caused widespread destruction and have left many residents displaced.
