Busan, South Korea – March 4, 2025 – BNK Busan Bank has announced the launch of its new 'REX II' credit card, designed to offer VIP customers a blend of practical spending benefits and premium privileges.

The REX II card is available in two versions: a points-based option that earns 1% points on all domestic purchases, and a Korean Air mileage option that accrues 1 mile for every 1,500 won spent domestically. Both versions include a suite of VIP services such as complimentary airport lounge access and free valet parking at hotels and airports. Cardholders can also enjoy 10% discounts at department stores, supermarkets, Kakao T, and Starbucks. A discount of 70 won per liter is offered at all gas stations.

The bank has expanded the card's service area to include the Seoul metropolitan region, in addition to the Busan, Ulsan, and South Gyeongsang provinces. The card's design has also been upgraded to a luxurious metal finish with real gold powder, reflecting its premium status. A traditional PVC version is also available.

The annual fee for the REX II card is 200,000 won. Cardholders can choose one of the following welcome vouchers worth 150,000 won: hotel dining, Shinsegae/Lotte department store gift certificates, airline discounts, or golf discounts.

"The REX II credit card has been upgraded to offer both practical benefits and premium services," said Jeon Geun-ho, head of BNK Busan Bank's Payment Business Department. "We encourage our customers to take advantage of the many benefits this card offers."
