[Global Economic Times] Gochang Food Industry Research Institute Agricultural and Food Sauce Production Support Center received additional HACCP (Hacup, Food Safety Management Certification Standard) certification for two items, including liquid tea and fruit and vegetable juice, from the Korea Food Safety Management Certification Board. I received it.

With the addition of this certification, the items that the Agricultural Food Sauce Production Support Center can produce with Haesop certification have been expanded to a total of six, including liquid tea, fruit and vegetable juice, jams, sauces, candies, and vinegar.

HACPS is a system that establishes safety management standards and manages hazardous elements in all processes from raw material receipt to manufacturing, processing, and distribution at the processing site to certify safety.

The Agricultural Food Sauce Production Support Center is equipped with 15 types of equipment, including a concentrator, sterilizer, blender, pouch packaging machine, 5-row liquid stick packaging machine, and jam filling machine.

We are continuing to provide continuous production support by receiving various production requests using Gochang's agricultural products from local farmers and prospective entrepreneurs.

Deok-Seop Shim, Chairman of the Gochang Food Industry Research Institute, said, “Through the additional certification of HACCP items, it has been proven to be a hygienic and safe food facility. We expect this to be an opportunity to revitalize the food industry in Gochang-gun.”
