Asunción, Paraguay – In a powerful display of commitment to the growth of women's football, the Paraguayan Football Association (APF) and FIFA joined forces to host an inspiring girls' football festival. The event, which drew over 150 enthusiastic young participants, was designed to ignite a passion for the sport, foster skill development, and create a joyful and inclusive atmosphere.

This vibrant festival is a key component of the APF's "Paraguay Women's Football 2025" campaign, a comprehensive initiative aimed at revolutionizing women's football from the grassroots level. With the resounding slogan, "Women's Football: We achieve it all together," the campaign champions a message of unity, empowerment, and progress.

The festival also highlighted the strong collaborative efforts between the APF and various governmental bodies, notably the Ministry of Children and Youth, underscoring a shared commitment to nurturing young talent and promoting gender equality.

The event was graced by the presence of key figures, including APF's General Secretary Luis Kanonnikoff, Deputy General Secretary Alba Benítez, Development Director Douglas Martínez, and Marketing Manager Silvia Caballero. FIFA's Regional Office Manager, Javier González, and Ueno Bank Director Diana Mongelos also joined the celebration.

The APF and FIFA have reaffirmed their dedication to expanding access to football for girls and young women across Paraguay. Through continued investment in grassroots programs and youth development, they are working to cultivate the next generation of female footballers and build a more inclusive and equitable future for the sport.

The global rise of womens football has been supported by FIFA's strong initiatives. FIFA has been working to promote and develop women's football worldwide through various programs and initiatives. This includes investing in grassroots development, providing technical and financial support to member associations, and organizing international competitions.
