Asunción's K/Space is set to host a unique exhibition titled "De K a Z / Eco-poéticas de la materia," showcasing the works of three generations of the Zaldivar family. This special exhibition, starting on November 29, 2024, brings together the artistic expressions of Marité Zaldivar, Juan José Ivaldi Zaldivar, and Amelie Schneider Zaldivar, who have all found inspiration in the natural world.

The exhibition offers a captivating exploration of the intersection between art and nature, as each artist presents their unique interpretation of the natural world through their works. Juan José Ivaldi Zaldivar, for instance, captures the raw beauty of Iceland's landscapes through photography and videography. Marité Zaldivar delves into the relationship between humans and nature through her sculptural works made primarily from wood. Meanwhile, Amelie Schneider Zaldivar experiments with various materials to create abstract and thought-provoking pieces.

Beyond showcasing the individual talents of each artist, this exhibition is significant for bringing together three generations of the Zaldivar family under one roof. The diverse yet interconnected works create a harmonious and visually stimulating experience for visitors.

Exhibition Details and Side Events:

Dates: November 29, 2024, onwards
Venue: K/Space, Santa Rosa 586, Asunción
Side Events:December 6: Workshop with Amelie Schneider Zaldivar
December 6: Northern cuisine tasting prepared by Ivaldi Zaldivar
"De K a Z" offers a unique opportunity to appreciate the passion of Paraguayan artists who seek harmony between art and nature. Visitors can expect to discover new perspectives on the natural world and delve into the profound meanings embedded within each artwork.
