Incheon Metropolitan City Office of Education Launches On-Site Multicultural Education Training

Incheon, South Korea – The Incheon Metropolitan City Office of Education (Superintendent Doh Sung-hoon) announced today the launch of its "On-Site Multicultural Education Training" program, beginning on June 4th at Incheon Business High School. This initiative, set to run until November and encompass a total of 18 schools, aims to enhance multicultural sensitivity and strengthen inclusive educational capabilities among educators.

In addition to the core training modules, the Incheon Metropolitan City Office of Education is incorporating a unique "Totak Totak Cultural Sensitivity Coffee Truck" event. This initiative is designed to prevent teacher burnout and provide emotional support, recognizing the often demanding nature of their profession, especially when dealing with complex multicultural issues.
