Youth in Mexico shared their dreams and futures in Korean, showcasing their potential on a dedicated stage.

The "7th Mexico Youth Dream Presentation Festival," hosted by the Dream International Foundation and organized by the foundation's Mexico branch, was held on the 3rd (local time) at the auditorium of the Monterrey Korean School in Monterrey, Mexico.

Out of students from Mexico City, Monterrey, and other regions, nine finalists who passed the initial manuscript review advanced to the finals, presenting their dreamed futures in Korean based on their respective fields of interest and experiences.

First place went to Lee Sun-young (1st year of high school), who presented on the theme "What is Your Dream?" Lee expressed her aspiration to become a teacher who walks alongside students to help them discover their own dreams rather than dictating what their dreams should be.

Jin Jung-ah, head of the foundation's Mexico branch, stated, "Year after year, students are becoming more natural in expressing their thoughts and dreams in Korean. I hope this experience serves as an opportunity for them to think concretely about their dreams and take another step forward."

The event was sponsored by the Monterrey chapter of the World Federation of Overseas Koreans Traders Association, the Central America and Caribbean Chapter of the National Unification Advisory Council, and the Korean Association in Mexico.

Based on 21 branches worldwide, the Dream International Foundation supports overseas Korean youth in designing their dreams and futures through youth dream presentation festivals and scholarship programs.
