Ahead of the highly anticipated fifth launch of South Korea's homegrown space launch vehicle, the Nuri, scheduled for October 7, the Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) has launched a special interactive promotional campaign. KARI announced that it is operating an immersive experiential exhibition titled "Mission! KARI 1-Day Researcher!" at the Atrium of Starfield Suwon Tower from September 11 to 20.

This special public event was designed to celebrate Nuri’s fifth milestone flight and share major milestones of South Korea's aerospace development with the general public. By transforming visitors into "researchers for a day," the exhibition aims to make advanced aerospace science and technology more accessible, engaging, and inspiring for citizens of all ages.

The promotional zone is structured into diverse themed spaces, featuring exhibition areas showcasing KARI’s key research achievements, state-of-the-art augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) zones, and dedicated message boards for cheering on the success of the Nuri rocket.

One of the most popular highlights of the exhibition is the "Nuri AR Coloring" program. In this interactive exhibit, visitors can personally color their own designs of the Nuri rocket on paper and watch them vividly launch into virtual space using cutting-edge augmented reality technology.

In addition to the AR launch experience, a wide array of hands-on educational programs and events are being held throughout the ten-day exhibition. These include space exploration quizzes focusing on Korea's Danuri lunar orbiter, paper airplane-making workshops, space-themed keycap crafting, authentic space suit wear trials, and a special cheering wall where citizens can leave heartfelt support messages for the Nuri 5th launch mission.

Lee Sang-chul, President of KARI, emphasized the significance of the event by stating, "As we approach the critical fifth launch of Nuri, we hope this exhibition provides a meaningful platform for the public to deepen their understanding of aerospace science and technology." He added, "We look forward to seeing the younger generation expand their horizons and nurture their dreams of reaching for the stars."
