Cheonan, South Korea – The Cheonan Cultural Foundation, led by CEO Ahn Dong-soon, announced on the 7th the launch of its official public profile on Danggeun Market (also known as Karrot), a popular location-based community platform. This strategic move aims to bolster communication with local residents and provide timely updates on the foundation's activities and cultural events.

Danggeun Market, initially recognized as a platform for second-hand transactions, has evolved into a vital community hub, offering a "Public Profile" service that enables public organizations to connect directly with residents within their vicinity.

By becoming a " dangol," or regular follower, of the Cheonan Cultural Foundation's profile, users will receive real-time notifications about the foundation's news and can readily access updates through the platform's "Neighborhood Life" bulletin board. This direct channel promises to keep the community well-informed about upcoming performances, exhibitions, cultural programs, and other initiatives organized by the foundation.

To commemorate the launch of their Danggeun Market presence, the Cheonan Cultural Foundation is holding a promotional event until April 20th. One hundred lucky users who add the foundation's public profile as a regular follower on the Danggeun Market application will be selected through a lottery to receive mobile coffee gift certificates. This initiative serves as an incentive for residents to engage with the foundation on this accessible platform.

A representative from the Cheonan Cultural Foundation emphasized the significance of this new communication channel, stating, "Danggeun Market is a widely used, everyday platform for many of our citizens. By establishing a presence here, we aim to provide valuable information and expand opportunities for cultural engagement through diverse communication channels." This initiative reflects the foundation's commitment to reaching a broader audience and fostering a more connected cultural community in Cheonan.

This move by the Cheonan Cultural Foundation highlights a growing trend among public institutions in South Korea to leverage the widespread reach and community-centric nature of platforms like Danggeun Market to enhance public engagement and disseminate information effectively. By embracing such digital tools, organizations can foster stronger relationships with the local populace and ensure that vital information regarding cultural events and community initiatives reaches residents directly and conveniently.
