Hands-on, fieldwork-tailored training conducted utilizing ChatGPT and Gemini for document drafting, data analysis, and more

Cheonan City has concluded its "Generative AI Practical Work Application Training" for municipal public officials, producing a total of over 500 practical AI professionals this year.

Cheonan City wrapped up its generative AI practical training schedules for the first and second halves of the year with the completion of the second-half sessions, which ran from September 21 to October 13.

To enhance the practical application skills of its staff, this second-half training was operated in a total of 10 sessions, comprising 5 basic courses and 5 advanced courses.

The training focused on core, hands-on practices that can be applied immediately in the field, including drafting administrative documents using ChatGPT and Gemini, creating AI-based promotional content and visual materials, conducting data analysis, and automating report writing.

Building upon the cumulative training outcomes from both the first and second halves of the year, Cheonan City plans to establish a smart administrative environment that reduces repetitive tasks and allows officials to focus on high-level administrative duties such as data analysis and policy planning.

"We aim to actively utilize AI as a supplementary tool for administrative work to boost operational efficiency," said Kim Hyang-soo, Head of the Smart Information Division. "Based on these accumulated practical competencies, we will provide faster and more intelligent administrative services to our citizens."
