"Oh My God Party" held at the Lake Park on the 9th–10th… Featuring Civil Service Examinations and Traditional Cultural Experiences

Sejong Special Self-Governing City (Mayor Cho Sang-ho) held the "Top Scholar Confucian Festival: Oh My God Party" at the Plum Blossom Performance Stage in Sejong Lake Park from October 9th to 10th.

Held as part of the 2026 Chungcheong Confucian Cultural Zone Tourism Promotion Project, this event was organized in conjunction with the Sejong Hangul Festival to provide visitors with an easy and fun opportunity to experience Confucian culture.

Event participants became scholars for a day, taking on the traditional civil service examination and creating unique memories as they shared the joy of achieving top honors.

In addition, the city operated interactive programs where visitors could directly learn and experience Confucian culture, such as drawing the Four Gracious Plants, painting, composing poetry, Confucian-themed OX quizzes, and traditional etiquette education.

Namgoong Ho, Director-General of Culture, Sports and Tourism, stated, "This event was designed so that citizens and visitors attending the Sejong Hangul Festival could easily and enjoyably experience Confucian culture and traditional etiquette. We hope everyone felt the charm of our traditional culture through various experiences like the civil service examination."

Meanwhile, the "Top Scholar Oh My God Party" is a Chungcheong Confucian brand-type tourism program promoted by Sejong City and the Sejong City Foundation for Arts and Culture as part of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's Chungcheong Confucian Cultural Zone Tourism Promotion Project.
