Agricultural Technology Center's Customized "Hana Class" Training Strengthens Farming Expertise

The Sejong Special Self-Governing City Agricultural Technology Center (Director Pi Ok-ja) announced on the 19th that eight trainees successfully passed and earned their Organic Agriculture Technician certificates through the "2026 Sejong Young Farmer Hana Class" training course operated this year.

The Sejong Young Farmer Hana Class is a customized training program designed to strengthen the farming capabilities of young agriculturalists. This year, the center operated an Organic Agriculture Technician course to support them in acquiring national technical qualifications.

Targeting 25 young farmers, the training program ran across a total of seven sessions, covering organic agriculture theories and preparation for the qualification exam.

Notably, on the 13th, the center provided customized learning support to help trainees prepare for the exam by running an additional four-hour reinforcement training session.

As a result, 19 trainees took the written exam, and 8 successfully passed to earn their Organic Agriculture Technician certificates, laying the foundation to grow into professional agricultural experts.

"This achievement is a meaningful outcome born from the active participation and steady efforts of our young farmers," said Pi Ok-ja, Director of the Agricultural Technology Center. "We will continue to provide education and support tailored to field demands so that young farmers can grow into highly specialized agricultural professionals."
