Seoul, South Korea – Samsung Electronics announced today that it will unveil its Eco Heating System (EHS) at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025 in Las Vegas next month. This will be the first time the company has introduced the product to the US market.   

The EHS is designed for both residential and commercial spaces, providing underfloor heating and hot water. Utilizing air and electricity, it offers a more efficient and eco-friendly alternative to traditional fossil fuel-powered boilers. As the global energy crisis has driven up gas prices, particularly in Europe due to the Russia-Ukraine conflict, heat pumps have gained significant popularity as a viable alternative. Samsung currently sells the EHS in over 40 countries across Europe.   

For the US market, Samsung will introduce two indoor units: the ‘Climate Hub Mono’ with a 200-liter water tank and the wall-mounted ‘Hydro Unit Mono’. These units will be paired with the ‘Mono R32 HT Quiet’ outdoor unit.   

Both indoor units are equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen-based ‘AI Home’ interface, offering users convenient control over the system. When integrated with SmartThings, users can easily monitor solar energy usage if they have a solar power system. The slim designs of the indoor units seamlessly blend with built-in furniture. The wall-mounted ‘Hydro Unit Mono’ can be installed in kitchens, laundry rooms, or other spaces, eliminating the need for a dedicated boiler room.   

The outdoor unit, ‘Mono R32 HT Quiet’, boasts powerful performance and a sleek design that complements any building's exterior. It can provide hot water up to 70 degrees Celsius and maintains 100% heating performance even in temperatures as low as -25 degrees Celsius.
