North Chungcheong Province announced that it will hold a special one-month opening of the "Cheongpungho Baramdal Garden" from October 1 to October 31, coinciding with the peak autumn foliage season at Lake Cheongpungho.

Ahead of its official opening in March 2027, this special opening is designed to give provincial residents and tourists an early preview of Baramdal Garden. It also aims to check for areas of improvement, such as visitor traffic flow and facility operation methods, prior to the official launch.

During the special opening period, the garden will be open daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Visitors will be able to fully enjoy the deepening autumn atmosphere at Lake Cheongpungho by taking in the surrounding autumn foliage along with an autumn garden harmonized with colorful chrysanthemums and silvery silver grass.

In particular, various cultural and experiential programs will be held on weekends. Throughout October, garden experience programs such as making succulent potted plants with the Jecheon City Citizen Gardener Association will take place every Saturday and Sunday. Cultural performances featuring local artists will also be held at the central observation deck every Saturday.

In addition, various events will be hosted for visitors to the Cheongpungho Baramdal Garden. These include a social media verification event where visitors can post photos taken at Baramdal Garden with designated hashtags, as well as a "Love Locks" zone to capture memories with lovers, family, and friends. Furthermore, North Chungcheong Province plans to deploy on-site operation and management personnel during the special opening period and apply phased operational criteria based on weather conditions to ensure thorough prevention of safety accidents.

Park Kyung-ae, Head of the Garden Culture Division at North Chungcheong Province, stated, "This special autumn opening will be an opportunity to showcase the autumn scenery of Cheongpungho Baramdal Garden to residents and tourists first. We hope everyone enjoys a special autumn atmosphere at Baramdal Garden, where the beautiful scenery of Lake Cheongpungho blends with the autumn garden."

Meanwhile, Cheongpung Bridge, where the "Cheongpungho Baramdal Garden" was created, is a disused bridge near Cheongpung Daegyo Bridge (along National Support Route 82) in Cheongpung-myeon, Jecheon-si. North Chungcheong Province has created a space combining the stunning natural landscape of Lake Cheongpungho with gardens, and plans to officially open it in March 2027 after supplementing facilities and operational methods based on the results of this autumn special opening.
