Daejeon City will operate a special travel program, the "2025 Daejeon Story Tour," a total of 60 times from March to November for citizens and tourists.
The "2025 Daejeon Story Tour" is a storytelling-based travel project that explores Daejeon’s hidden attractions and history with fascinating narratives.
This project involves guided tours led by experts, allowing participants to visit Daejeon’s historical and cultural landmarks. Beyond simple sightseeing, participants can directly experience the city’s hidden stories and origins, offering a deeper and more meaningful travel experience. The tours are divided into three types—Dawn Tour, Night Tour, and Theme Tour—across a total of 11 courses.
The Dawn Tour takes place early Saturday and Sunday mornings, featuring courses where participants can enjoy sunrise at places like Gapcheon and Daecheongho, spending leisurely time in nature.
The Night Tour operates on Saturday and Sunday evenings, offering a program where participants can enjoy sunset and night views at Daejeon’s iconic scenic spots, experiencing a unique atmosphere.
The Theme Tour runs during weekdays and weekend daytime hours, designed as a journey to deeply explore Daejeon’s culture and history through various themes such as village tours and historical tours.
Daejeon City expects that this Story Tour will provide citizens with an easy and enjoyable way to learn about the region’s history and culture while introducing outside visitors to the city’s new charms.
Reservations can be made in advance through Naver Band (https://band.us/@storytour2017), with each tour accommodating around 20 participants. The participation fee is 10,000 won.
