Seoul, South Korea – Samsung Electronics announced today that its 2025 Neo QLED and Lifestyle TVs have been awarded the EyeCare Circadian certification by VDE, a renowned German testing and certification institute.

The certification encompasses a rigorous evaluation of six key factors: five eye care criteria (safety for the eyes, melatonin suppression level, flicker-free viewing, uniform luminance, and color accuracy) and a Circadian Stimulus (CS) index that assesses the impact on the body's biological clock. Samsung's TVs excelled in all categories, earning the prestigious certification.

The 'Eye Comfort Mode' feature, which comes with the certification, automatically adjusts brightness and color temperature based on viewing time and environment. This ensures an optimal viewing experience that aligns with the user's circadian rhythm. During the day, the mode mimics natural light, providing vibrant visuals without straining the eyes. At night, it reduces brightness and color temperature to promote restful sleep.
