LAS VEGAS — The global race to dominate the AI robot market is intensifying as tech giants like NVIDIA, Samsung, LG, and China's TCL unveil their latest innovations.

NVIDIA, a leading AI chipmaker, has introduced a new physical AI development platform called Cosmos. The company believes that Cosmos will enable more automation in warehouses and factories, accelerating the growth of the humanoid robot market, which is projected to reach a value of $38 billion over the next few decades. Jensen Huang, NVIDIA's CEO, described the launch of Cosmos as a "ChatGPT moment" for the robotics industry.

South Korean tech giants Samsung and LG are also making significant strides in the AI robot market. Samsung unveiled its AI companion, "Ballie," a yellow ball-shaped robot that learns from user patterns and can control various IoT devices. LG showcased its mobile AI home hub, "Q9," which can connect and control home appliances and express emotions.

Chinese electronics company TCL introduced its AI companion robot, "AiMe," which can provide information, set reminders, and even interact with users. Other companies like Haier and Roborock also showcased their AI home assistants at CES 2025.

Meanwhile, Delta Air Lines announced that it will launch an AI assistant called "Delta Concierge" later this year. This AI assistant will provide personalized travel assistance, such as helping passengers with passport renewals, visa requirements, and packing suggestions.

The rapid advancements in AI technology and the increasing demand for automation are driving the growth of the AI robot market. As more companies enter the fray, competition is expected to intensify, leading to even more innovative and affordable AI-powered solutions.
