You can also find authentic experiences at Gyeongju Gyochon Village, which offers a peaceful traditional atmosphere.
Booking: You can search on international OTAs (Booking.com, Agoda) and Airbnb for these unique stays.

Tips for Foreign Visitors

Book Early: Gyeongju is a popular destination. We strongly recommend booking your accommodation at least 6 months to 1 year in advance, especially if you plan to visit during peak season or for the 2025 APEC Summit.
Use International OTAs: Websites like Booking.com, Agoda, and Expedia are a great way to compare options and get foreign language support.
Check Official Websites: Some hotels and resorts offer special promotions or deals if you book directly through their official websites.
Consider Location: Think about your travel plans. Choose a place close to the main APEC venue (likely the HICO convention center), major tourist sites (like Bulguksa Temple), or the city center depending on what you plan to do.
Transportation: Confirm the availability of public transportation (buses, taxis) from your lodging, or if they offer parking for rental cars.
Payment & Language: Most major hotels accept international credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex). While larger hotels have staff who can speak English, you may encounter language barriers at smaller pensions or guesthouses. Having a translation app on your phone can be very helpful!
