2025 Daejeon-Chungcheong MICE Alliance Annual General Meeting and Workshop Held*

The city of Daejeon, in collaboration with the Daejeon Tourism Organization, recently hosted the "2025 Daejeon-Chungcheong MICE Alliance Annual General Meeting and Workshop Camp" at the Boryeong Mud Theme Park. This event aimed to promote the development of the global MICE industry.

The event, themed "ONE DCMA! A Co-evolution Strategy for Daejeon-Chungcheong MICE Synergy," brought together MICE Alliance member companies and related organizations from Daejeon and the Chungcheong region. It served as a platform for communication and exchange, where participants explored the direction of the MICE industry and discussed practical cooperation strategies.

The main program featured a lecture titled "A Strategy for Local Tourism Content to Make Daejeon and Chungcheong MICE Cities into Brands." This lecture shared strategies for utilizing local tourism resources for MICE and discussed ways to revitalize the local economy. The event also included a meaningful session where participants shared their experiences and success stories in operating the Daejeon 0-Clock Festival and the Boryeong Mud Festival.

This annual general meeting and workshop camp is expected to strengthen the network among DCMA member companies, enhance inter-regional cooperation, and boost the competitiveness of the Daejeon-Chungcheong MICE industry.

Jeon Il-hong, Director of the Culture and Tourism Bureau of Daejeon City, said, "This annual general meeting was a meaningful event where Daejeon and Chungcheong came together to design a new leap forward for the MICE industry. We will continue to provide unwavering support to maximize synergy among regions and establish Daejeon as a global MICE hub through close cooperation and networking."
