Baseball legend Choo Shin-soo is set to share an intimate look at his retirement in an upcoming episode of KBS 2TV's "Sallimnam." The episode, scheduled to air on November 2, marks Choo's long-awaited return to the show after a 10-month hiatus.

In this special episode, viewers will get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at Choo's final game in Busan, where he began his baseball career. The emotional journey will take viewers from his heartfelt farewell to fans during an autograph session to his reflections on standing in the batter's box for the last time at Sajik Stadium.

"I wanted to stay on the field for even a little longer," Choo expressed, revealing his bittersweet feelings about his final at-bat.

The episode will also feature a heartwarming gathering with Choo's family, who have been instrumental in his success. For the first time on television, Choo's mother will join the show, providing viewers with a glimpse into the family that has supported him throughout his career. The episode will also feature a reunion with legendary baseball player Park Jung-tae, who will share heartfelt conversations with Choo.

Choo will open up about his deep admiration for his uncle and mentor, Park Jung-tae, and reveal the pivotal moment that inspired him to pursue a career in baseball. Surprisingly, both Park Jung-tae and Choo's mother initially opposed his decision to become a baseball player, leaving viewers curious about the reasons behind their reservations. Choo will also share a personal confession about harboring resentment towards his mother during his early years in the United States.

Don't miss this special episode of "Sallimnam" on November 2 at 9:20 PM as Choo Shin-soo shares his emotional journey of retirement and the lasting impact of his family and mentors on his life.
