Six out of 10 Americans are critical of Donald Trump, believing that he has pursued personal gain through illegal or unethical means during his second term in office. Furthermore, three out of four Americans feel that President Trump has prioritized his personal business interests over the country as a whole.

According to a poll released on the 13th (local time) by the Associated Press and NORC Center for Public Research, 41% of respondents said Trump's pursuit of personal profit was illegal, while 18% responded that it was not illegal but unethical.

Conversely, only 18% answered that President Trump did nothing wrong, while 21% were unsure.

Among independents, 50% expressed the view that his actions were illegal or unethical, whereas only 12% replied that he did nothing wrong.

When asked whether President Trump prioritized the nation as a whole, his personal business interests, the public, or friends and family, 75% answered that he prioritized his own personal business interests.

The percentage of respondents who said he prioritized the interests of friends and family also reached 73%.

On the other hand, only 42% (23% "very much" and 19% "somewhat") believed he prioritized the nation as a whole, and a mere 29% (11% "very much" and 18% "somewhat") felt he prioritized the public.

The survey was conducted among 2,140 American adults from the 24th to the 28th of last month, with a margin of error of $pm2.9$ percentage points.
